We place a proprietary Cell Over Satellite hardware appliance, we call a TRIAD, in your phone equipment room. The satellite server will connect to the TRIAD and deliver any type of traditional circuits or analog lines to your existing system. It is very common to back up the telephone system by placing always-on, always-working, RED analog satellite phones at key locations in a facility.
Between 25 and 50 cellular calls and between 25 and 100 calls from your existing phone system, depending on the size of the system you require. The reason why the number of simultaneous calls varies so much is because of how calls are compressed and the time of the day. For example, the bandwidth could be twice as high at 10:00 AM than it is at 10 PM.
The general rule of thumb is between 25% and 35% of your current capacity.
